Looks awesome and everything don't get me wrong, but how would you see what's in front?
Oh I get it, you just shoot whatever's in front.

Thats and there are electronic screens inside the vehicle, not to far off from Iron Man, but also, there is a huge open spot where you can see straight ahead.

awsome render, will your game have these graphics?

We are using the Crytek 3 engine for this game, so it will have very good graphics. Not like this, for this took about an hour to render on a powerful computer, so nothing would be able to handle this. But they will be pretty nonetheless.

Why are there full cartridges hanging out of the gun. Ainīt they supposed to be empty? Also, the connection between guns and car look strange. Is it stuck with glue? No screws, no mounting?

I reversed them, for the ammo cases are on the sides and not the top. As for the connections, superglue does alot of amazing things, doesn't it. But no, its held on by those two prods, screws underneath instead of straight through.

I was just having a close look, cos Iīm a 3D guy, too. And I have a similar car idea. Except, I replaced the wheels with little, rotatable jet engines. I need time to model it. What do you say? [link]

Thats pretty interesting actually. What are the base vehicle you are modeling it around? Also, you said paying? How much are we talking?

that depends. And due to the fact, that the car itself is fictional, The WHOLE thing must be modeled. Payment depends. The closer the result gets to my drawing, the more. But, I prefer not do it for the money. I wont pay more than 50$. Itīs just for fun and I prefer MAKING money with my art, instead of paying for it. But again, I am curious how a good 3D guy would interprete my sketch.
Honestly, if you like to model it, just go ahead. But money shouldnīt be the reason

Alright, I'm honestly not going to try and sound rude, but the money is the only reason I would make it. I like to make money with my art, as well as NEED to. I have a 3 year old to feed, plus my own expenses, and most of my time on 3d is made for paying customers and my video games in production. On top of that, $50 is not enough for a project of that size. You would need to create a full model of the car, the engines, the effects, and every add on. Something like that would actually cost $250-$500 depending on how much detail you want on it.

When you want to get payd like a pro, you should apply at a production company. I am a 3D artist, who wants to get paid for his work, in the first place. Just like you. Thatīs exactly why I donīt have the time to create this myself. Because I have a lot of commisions, work for 3 companies at the same time PLUS do a regular job, too. Looking for jobs on DA might be the wrong way.
But I have a real job for you, if you want. A friend of mine is signed at an independant hiphop label. His artist name is "A.C.H.".They want a mobile game with him as the main character, cruising around in his audi 80. If you need further details, send me a note and we can connect via Skype, ICQ or Facebook to talk about datails via private messaging.
Album and single are out, video is in the making and the game just gonna have the albums name, so itīs gonna be more or less a merchandise product. All official, sure payment. But all german!
And for the jetcar: If you read the text carefully, you should notice "if itīs good enough". Now imagine, I wouldnīt like what you come up with and pay nothing? That can happen, too. Not meant personally, but that alone should tell, that itīs risky. You have to provide for your kid, you should look for a save job. I WOULD pay you 1000 bugs for a photorealistic, hires textured hi-poly model of the car, rigged to control/animate it, if I HAD the money^^. But I simply cannot effort that. Or would you pay such sum for a private just-for-fun project?

Yeah, DA is good for the occasional freelance job. Ive had some very big hits on here though, so that's always nice. But I know how you feel. Son, 2 jobs, one being a head chef, the other in construction, college, and my own production line about to be coming out soon.

As for the jetcar, I'm sure you will find someone wanting to work on that. It looks like fun, but I don't have the time to do it for fun. Sorry man. But for this one job, note is about to be sent :eager:
