An axe concept for another of my upcoming video games. This one is for the game "Edge of the Earth" which revolves around a viking crew who fell off the edge of the earth and now must fight their way out against the most horrifying creatures ever created.

With years of practice and skill. If someone could master a sickle on a 20 foot chain flailing wildly, why not be able to learn this?

I think they more frequently threw the weight attached to the chain, and not the sickle, but I suppose you have a point. Seems as though it couldn't be used as simply an axe, though...

In most styles of Kusari, though there are some styles where they do use the sickle as the flying part, used similar to a meteor hammer. And no, we dont want just another axe, we want something different and unique.
